Nestled in the tranquil hills of Brown County, Indiana, Ray Lynn Woods, opened it's workshops to supply the local musicians with
products useful to their type and style of instruments. I worked at Mountain Made Music for years, and that's where I learned to play
the Mountain Dulcimer and bowed psaltry, my husband plays guitar and just about anything since he plays by ear. I met so many great
people and musicians. People would just drop by and jam for a while.
Dulcimer groups started popping up and I had many request to make items for them. I started making the stands at that point and
have been flooded with requests for them and the matching straps.
Weed Patch Music opened it's doors in Nashville and I went to work for them. The only problem was, I couldn't keep up with making
everything and still work, so I chose to start my own business. My husband, Randy, does the woodworking part of the business, so it
is a team effort. We are very proud of the products we make and we are always coming up with new items.
